The game
What is Transit Constructor?
A game about building public transport in real cities: metro, trams and buses, with commuters who decide whether to use them and a city that grows around good service.
Which cities can I play?
Practically any city or town on Earth. The game builds it from OpenStreetMap: streets, water, buildings, and where people live and work.
What does early access mean?
The game is complete enough to play from start to finish, and still growing. Early access costs $15.99 instead of $19.99, and includes every update.
Which computers does it run on?
macOS, Windows and Linux. If your computer runs a current Chrome, it runs the game; it lowers its own graphics on older machines. Details.
Playing & your account
How do I play on a new computer?
Install the game and sign in with the email you bought with. That's all: no transfer, no reset. With a licence key it works the same way; if the key is already on three computers, the one set up longest ago lets it go by itself.
Do I need an account?
Your email is your account: the game sends you a code to sign in, no password. If you would rather not, use the licence key from your receipt instead.
Do I need to be online?
To build a new city, yes (map data comes from the internet). Otherwise the game only checks your licence once every 14 days.
Buying & support
Is it on Steam?
Not for now: it is sold here, directly, which keeps the price low.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: see the refund policy.
I lost my licence key.
Find your key with the email you bought with, or write to support@transitconstructor.com.
